Volkswagen-Audi, 56000 Units Target Sales Next Year in Korea

[AutoDaily] Volkswagen-Audi Korea has an ambitious plan to sell 56,000 units next year in Korean market.
 
Recently, they set the plan for 2014 business which aim to 32,000 for Volkswagen, 24,000 for Audi, total 56,000 units.
 
It increased 19% than the current year’s expectation; Volkswagen 27,000, Audi 20000, total 47,000. Compare that BMW Korea’s actual record is 40,000, it is 16,000 more.
 
For this goal, the company introduces so-called back margin system. The system is when the dealers reach the annual goal, they get back 1% of original car price.
 
Audi Korea officially spoke that they set the 22,000 units for 2014 sales target same as KAIDA’s market outlook is 10% growth.
 
In 2013, Audi’s annual target was 16,000 units, it was increased 1,000 units compared with the year before last. However, their target exceeded 4,000 units more.
 
Audi Korea accomplished more 30% growth. The company only put out derivative models - R8 5.2 V10 Plus Coupe, R8 V10 Spyder, A5 Sportback, SQ5, and Q3 Special Edition - without new primary models.
 
They will release new 3 models – A3 Sedan, RS Concept Special Edition TTS Competition model, and the ultimate RS series; RS7 next January.
 
Next year, Audi will open 7 more service center branch, and the number of work-bay will increase 234 to 350. It can improve a capability of maintenance.
 
Starting early next year, Pyeong-taek training center invested 1.4 billion is expected to be operated.
 
Meanwhile, Volkswagen Korea plan to introduce kind of Golf derivation new model next year.
